Deep energy restoration.*

Ginseng has been regarded as one of the most valuable tonic herbs in Asian medicine for hundreds of years. It is sometimes referred to as the “person root” due to it‘s having the appearance of a miniature person, with a somewhat bulbous body, topped with a head (stem) and lateral rootlets that often look like arms and legs.

Ginseng is slow growing and prefers (and can survive in) harsh mountainous climates, and it is believed that as the ginseng plant grows year after year, it gradually becomes more and more robust and absorbs more life force from the earth and air. This valuable life force, also known as Qi, is then delivered to the person who consumes the ginseng root. Ginseng roots that are found growing in the wild are considered far more valuable and potent compared to regular farmed Ginseng.

Peekay’s Wild Ginseng Blend is a combination of both WILD and cultivated ginseng from Asia and Northern America.*

Ginseng delivers its health benefits via anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Ginseng also improves circulation, reduces blood sugar and boosts immune functions. As an adaptogen, Ginseng is able to both stimulate energy while at the same time nourish and calm the person consuming it.*

Research on Ginseng shows it may support mind, mood and brain function, control blood sugar, support libido and sex function, support immune functions in the general population as well as in cancer patients and also support energy levels and physical endurance.*

If in doubt, always consult your doctor or a licensed health care provider before taking any medications, over-the-counter drugs, supplements or herbs.
